In this wonderful region 17 km or 10 miles outside of Chapleau and only be reached by waterway there is our camp in the center of Henderson Lake on a 14 acre peninsula surrounded by sandy beaches. There is a phantastic view over the big lake and the forest. Going by boat to the camp we pass the beautiful forest with it's beaver lodges, more becoming a lake : thats the great Henderson Lake and it's northern point our camp will be seen on the peninsula. Our friends do not only come by boat or car, but also with floatplanes. Brigitte and Hans – he is a German flight instructor – just came back from a flight to the Hudsonbay and wanted to see our bears.
