Chapleau
is situated near the artic watershed, from where crystal clear creeks
and streams go to north to the Artic Sea or south to the Great Lakes.
Here begins the Great Canadian Shield, the infinity and wideness of
a forest and lake region full of wild animals.
Bears, moose, deers, caribus, wolves, foxes, lynx, racoons, otters
and beavers, but also eagles, geese, ducks and the loon with it's
call of wilderness and solitude.
All these animals live undisturbed in the preserve. All the pictures
of our websites are shoot by Heinz Wehrheim and show the world of
animals around our camp.
