Our Photoalbum
Underneath the new sign "Chapleau Crown Game Preserve" by the Ministry attached at a birch tree there is waiting "Blacky II", who is a little bit smaller than his namesake, but still a big bear, marked with a small white stripe on his breast.

Our main attraction, however, are bears. Since over 25 years I built up a very close and trustful friendship. Opposite of our peninsula a feeding place was set up and therefore about 15 different bears regulary appears since years.

In the beginning mostly strong males passed by, but then during the last seasons it changed and now we have more females with there cubs. It is known that mothers are the most agressive bears, but my beargirlfriend leaves often her cubs near to us and she only protect the place against other bears.
